LNG Overview

LNG, or Liquid Natural Gas, is a clear, colorless, non-toxic liquid formed when natural gas is cooled to around (-)162 degrees Celsius (-260 degrees Fahrenheit).

This cooling process reduces the volume of natural gas by around 600 times, making it much more practical and cost-effective to transport and store for long distances or in areas where pipelines are not feasible.

Liquefied natural gas (also known as LNG) is natural gas cooled to a liquid state for the purpose of easier storage and transportation. LNG is a greener option compared to other fossil fuels, generating cleaner burning than other alternatives.
